My story
Update:  Sarah was spayed today (2/4) - and the vet said she's closer to 9-10 months old, and the breed guess is heeler mix.  Whatever Sarah is, she's just so sweet, and adorable! ------ Meet Sarah! This girl is SO sweet! SO ready to be someone's best friend! She is a black mixed breed, estimated to be around 7 months old, and weighs in at 23 lbs.  We are pretty sure she's going to stay this adorable medium size.  We love her cute, tiny fortune cookie ears - so adorable! She is kind, loves people, and lives for neck scratches. Sarah loves kids and gets along with other dogs. Sarah came to us as a stray, so we are working on basic commands and giving her a routine. She has adjusted well at the shelter, although she would love it more if she had a lap to sit on. My favorite thing about Sarah is the way she "talks" to me. I haven't heard her bark yet, but when I enter the shelter she says, very quietly.. "arorororooo". Although she gets along well with other dogs, we recommend a home with calm dogs. Her roommate is a bit rough and tumble and Sarah is playful, but she gets a bit annoyed by being run over. We can't speak to how she gets along with cats, but she LOVES kids. Sarah is up to date on shots and will be in our care until she is spayed on February 4th.
